MARS WRIGLRY- Soft Water Distribution Line
A Stainless-Steel Soft Water Line was installed with a total length of 1500 meters and a diameter of 2.5 inches, using orbital welding technology to ensure high-quality, sanitary welds without roughness or impurities that could cause scaling or microbial growth.
Soft water is typically produced through ion exchange systems to remove hardness ions (Calcium & Magnesium) and is mainly used as feed water for:
• Reverse Osmosis (RO) systems.
• Pure Steam Generators.
• Industrial Boilers.
The line was fabricated from 316L stainless steel to provide long-term corrosion resistance and maintain water quality throughout distribution. The pipeline design also included sloping sections to allow proper drainage, preventing stagnant water and minimizing the risk of microbial growth or biofilm formation.
This soft water line plays a critical role in the pharmaceutical utility system, supplying consistently treated water as a reliable feed source for PW, WFI, and Pure Steam production
