MEVAC Three – Clean Gas and Compressed Air Systems for Pharmaceutical Production

1- The clean gas distribution system was installed in compliance with pharmaceutical GMP standards, using 316L stainless steel piping and orbital welding to achieve a hygienic and contamination-free network. Clean gases, such as Clean Nitrogen or Clean CO₂, are used in pharmaceutical production for applications like tank blanketing, transferring sterile liquids, or maintaining an inert atmosphere inside process equipment.

The pipeline design included proper slopes for condensate removal and was equipped with sanitary valves, sampling points, and sterile gas filters to guarantee purity at the point of use. Routine monitoring ensures that the gas quality meets pharmaceutical standards, including purity, moisture content, and microbial control.

2-A pharmaceutical-grade compressed air system was implemented to supply clean, dry, and oil-free air throughout the facility. This system is essential for operating automated valves, instrumentation, and control systems, and in some cases, as Clean Compressed Air for non-direct product contact.

The piping network was designed with slopes for efficient condensate drainage and equipped with moisture separators, dryers (refrigerant or desiccant), and multi-stage filters to remove particles, oil, and moisture. Continuous quality testing is performed according to ISO 8573-1 standards, monitoring particle count, oil content, and dew point, ensuring the air consistently meets pharmaceutical requirements.
