Otsuka -Stainless steel piping network works and stainless steel works for the Purified Water (PW) system have been executed.

The stainless steel piping works (SS Piping Works) for a new production line within the PW network have been completed. The scope included installing a new pipeline and modifying the existing Preparation Line according to operational and design requirements.

All works were carried out in accordance with the requirements of the ASME BPE code, ensuring high levels of quality, cleanliness, and suitability for pharmaceutical and sensitive process applications. Materials with diameters of 1.5" and 2" were used as per the approved project specifications.

The work included fabrication, welding, and installation with high accuracy. Automatic orbital welding was performed using an orbital welding machine to ensure high-quality, consistent welds with minimal human intervention, achieving excellent internal cleanliness and efficient operation. Proper fixation and suitable supports were also applied.

After completing the installation, an internal inspection of the pipes was carried out using a borescope to ensure internal surface cleanliness, weld quality, and that there are no defects. Pickling and passivation processes were also performed to remove impurities and enhance the corrosion resistance of the stainless steel surface.

Pressure testing and final inspection were conducted to ensure system integrity and that the network is free from any leaks.

At the end of the work, the Welding Documentation was submitted, including Installation Qualification (IQ) and Operational Qualification (OQ), to ensure proper documentation of all execution stages and compliance with quality and operational standards.

The works were handed over after confirming full compliance with all technical specifications, ASME BPE requirements, and safety and quality standards.
