SPIMACO MISR - Pharmaceutical Water Network with advanced monitoring and quality assurance
In this project, our company implemented a Purified Water Station with a production capacity of 2.5 m³/h, designed to supply pharmaceutical-grade water in compliance with USP, EP, and JP standards.
The system includes a full pretreatment line (softener and filtration), followed by a double-pass Reverse Osmosis (RO, RO) unit to achieve very low conductivity and high purity levels. For microbiological safety, the system is equipped with periodic sanitization using either hot water or ozone.
The distribution loop was built from Stainless Steel 316L with orbital welding according to pharmaceutical guidelines, with a defined slope to avoid stagnation. The loop operates in hot recirculation mode (70–80 °C) to maintain water quality and prevent microbial growth.
The network also includes sampling points, sanitary valves, and drain lines, with continuous monitoring of conductivity, TOC, and microbiological parameters to ensure consistent pharmaceutical water quality.
