Bore scoping
Stainless steel bore scoping involves using a borescope—a flexible, fiber-optic camera—to inspect the internal surfaces of stainless steel components like pipes or tanks. This non-destructive test provides high-resolution images or videos of the internal condition, allowing for the detection of issues such as corrosion, weld defects, or obstructions without needing to dismantle the equipment. The process involves inserting the borescope through a small access point and maneuvering it to view different areas inside the component. The captured images are analyzed to assess the condition of the stainless steel, ensuring its integrity and guiding necessary maintenance or repairs.
